Please read Grace Building Quote conditions of use carefully as by using this website and program, you indicate to us that you accept the terms and are therefore bound by our conditions.

Our privacy policy may change at any given time and without warning, so please check sporadically to ensure that you are mindful of any changes. Your continued use of the GBQ will signify your approval of these modifications.

1. ABOUT GBQ

1.1 GBQ is a schematic cost estimation program founded and created by Mr Sam Grace, the Grace Building Quote company owner.

2. ACCESS & REGISTRATION

2.1 We may, at our sole reasoning, restrict access to parts of the program or our whole site to certain groups of users, including those registered with us, if we feel there is a breach, misconduct or abuse to our system.

2.2 GBQ will NOT share, sell or trade in any form of your personal registration details that are on the system. Third-party sites have NO access to your data as we have proper electronic, managerial measures in place to safeguard and firmly prevent unlawful access. This, however, does NOT include members that have signed up to be part of our ‘umbrella of professionals’. These associates are permissible to view the contact details of other participants that have willingly consented to their details being disclosed for the purpose of generating work prospects.

3. COOKIES

3.1 The website may accumulate anonymous usage data such as click-through rates which will be sent back to us for analysis and further upgrade and advance the GBQ program. Nonetheless, the data collected will never contain anything that will personally identify you.

3.2 We use cookies to track footprints throughout our program to improve and upgrade, for example, to support us in resolving the arrangement and placement of buttons and links. We also use cookies to track where visitors find and access us. GBQ will never offer cookie information to third parties.

4. INTELLECTUAL RIGHTS

4.1 GBQ is registered in the Australian Copyright Council. This means the system and its notions are all generated and strictly owned by GBQ. This safeguards the program from being replicated and assures that GBQ owns full rights to the development codes.

4.2 Your use of the website and GBQ system does not grant you any rights to our intellectual property or contents.

4.3 Other than as expressly permitted in these terms of use, users may not duplicate, reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit our services or materials. Nonetheless, users may save and print citations of the content, schematic designs, quotations and any privilege which being a member grants for the singular purpose of using it for the intended goal.

5. YOUR CONDUCT

5.1 You approve using the GBQ program in agreement with all valid laws relevant to the jurisdiction from which you access the website.

5.2 GBQ WILL pursue legal action if you;

5.2.1 Use the program in any way that may indicate the inspiration or carrying out of criminal or illegal activity.

5.2.2 Introduce or upload offensive, insubordinate, obscene, menacing or profane products that may cause irritation, inconvenience or unnecessary concern.

5.2.3 Exploit the system in a way that trespasses the rights of other members, businesses or corporations, including and without limitation those of the competition on the market.

6. YOUR OBLIGATIONS

6.1 You sanction the allegiance that:

6.1.1 information and data provided by you to GBQ on registration is true, precise and current in all respects.

6.1.2 You will comply with the conditions of the terms of use to the program and site.

6.1.3 In regards to any material uploaded by you, you confirm that you have the right to do so and have attained all necessary licences and/or approvals.

6.1.4 You agree to compensate GBQ for any legal claims or damages incurred by you due to any discrepancy or alleged breach of these conditions.

7. SCHEMATIC DESIGNS

7.1 The proposals and plans, which are computer-generated according to the information fed to them, is a graphical demonstration for users to visualise plans without the extra cost of appointing another expert. However, this schematic plan does not consider the achievability of the user's land. These designs are intended as a proposal plan but are not for the purpose of providing final plans for council submission. The designs need to be approved and verified by the selected Architect or a professional designer. The projected quotes are computerised estimates based on the market materials and labours cost. These estimates may vary from your networks and trade associates.

7.2 Documents relating to the schematic designs are automatically produced by the system and are available to users as part of their contract. Therefore, the user is permitted to use these documents free of any obligation; nonetheless, any form produced, if and when the GBQ logo is present on it, will remain in the full ownership of GBQ.

7.3 The plans you are designing do not have an architectural or engineering seal or stamp. Also, note the plans may need to be adjusted to comply with your local requirements. You are responsible for contacting your local council to find out the complete requirements for the building.

8. FIGURES

8.1 Producing a comprehensive quote is attained through the GBQ’s innovative program, which calculates each piece of data relating to users’ choice preference and the sum of selected materials nominated by the user for the total construction. These figures are produced after considering the all-inclusive data of each room. It is the users’ accountability to take into consideration every step that sits between the raw data and the final figure.

8.2 The accuracy of the figures produced by GBQ is contingent on the cost of the supplier’s products on the program. GBQ can NOT warrant that they won’t be subject to change as this is wholly reliant upon the market and trade. However, we guarantee that the system will keep up to date with costings in constant review. If, for any reason, user choices have been discontinued or are not available, the chosen products quantity and market price can be used to calculate this figure.

8.3 The system’s ability to create a ballpark figure is prepared with the intention that it will show where the projected cost of a plan falls within a realistic estimation. GBQ’s system and project management software innovation can generate a figure with 75 - 80% accuracy as in this phase; it is composed without the exactitude of the elected materials. You have to be always mindful of these points and apprehend that it is a rough figure.

9. DEFAULTS

9.1 Defaults option has been created in GBQ costing estimation system to minimise the consumed time to price any project. However, the selected materials for each default option(Economical, Standard, Good and Advanced) have been preselected based on the most preferred market choice.

9.2 GBQ is not held accountable for any unmatched default choice, as the users still have the authority to change any pre- choice default according to their preference.

10. DISCLAIMER

10.1 Concluding collections of materials are the obligation of the user, including, but not limited to proper fitting of materials, nailing, cementing, sealing, insulating, flashing, tiling, weatherproofing and numerous other items and details not essentially indicated in GBQ and over which the computer generator has no control or responsibility. GBQ will not be liable for any mistakes, omissions, or insufficiencies in any way, shape or form or by any party whatsoever.

10.2 GBQ project is designed and renowned under valid governing codes as of the date of this proposal. Changes to the program or project documents imposed by amendments or modifications to these codes will be reformed accordingly.

11. GBQ COPYRIGHT VIOLATION

1.1 GBQ will not tolerate copyright infringement towards the website or program. It will be considered a criminal offence, and fines and jail terms, in line with the software infringement act, will be legally pursued as potential consequences. The criminal penalties underlined here generally apply to commercial piracy and are principal with users stealing computer software.

12. ACCOUNT

12.1 As a user and member of the GBQ site and program, you should not reveal your account information to anyone. You are solely accountable for preserving the privacy and safety of your account and for all activities that ensue on or from your account. GBQ is not responsible for any losses arising out of your account's unauthorised access.

12.2 Users are permitted to receive the first three months of their membership for free as a probationary period. Upgrading to access more options within the program will incur an approved fee being charged after the three months and always at the consensus of the individual. However, the account will remain valid for six months, free of charges for using the ballpark figure. Should the user decide to upgrade to a detailed quote, the allocated fee will be applicable.

12.3 GBQ has no obligation to make available any program updates within any given time frame. However, it may require you to download and install browser updates to be compatible with the schematic design software.

13. BUILDERS

13.1 Builder members are required to provide a copy of their valid licence, public liability insurance, work cover white card and Clear fair-trading history to their GBQ account manager before registration with GBQ as a member.

13.2 GBQ generated Leads will be distributed to the members according to the plans level, rates and the obtained projects.

13.3 All the builders who are not complying with GBQ rules and policies will receive a warning from GBQ admin. However, if the builder insists to neglect GBQ rules and procedures, that will result in the cancellation of the builder membership for a minimum of one year.

14. SUPPLIERS

14.1 Supplier members are required to provide a copy of their valid ABN or ACN, Public liability insurance, and fair-trading history to their GBQ account manager before registration with GBQ as a member.

14.2 GBQ generated Leads will be distributed to the members according to the plans level, rates and availability of materials.

14.3 All the suppliers who are not complying with GBQ rules and policies will receive a warning from GBQ admin. However, if the supplier insists to neglect GBQ suppliers’ rules and procedures, that will result in the cancellation of the builder membership for Min. one year.

15. LIMITATIONS

15.1 This service is not a substitute for your judgment or independent expert testing, design, estimation, or assessment. There is an enormous variety of potential selections for the program; the quotes have not been tested in every situation under which they may be used and may not accomplish the desired outcome. GBQ will not be accountable for any fallouts or outputs that have been designed by you in connection with the service, including content. You are liable for your use of this program. You are also accountable for founding the suitability of procedures for testing the dependability, accuracy and completeness of service and materials selected.

16. SUPPORT

16.1 Members will have access to customer service support and general help directly from experts at GBQ. During business hours, this support is delivered with proficiency through email.

17. COMPETITION

17.1 Users such as builders and suppliers who have access to GBQ’s unified marketing strategy may find themselves in constant competition regarding prices. GBQ does not take any responsibility for rivalry or conflict on the market. It is the builders/supplier’s duty to platform their prices and quality of service to users, and it is the only choice of the consumer to make purchase decisions. This networking platform means that each builder/supplier associate's details are stored on the site for all GBQ clients to access.

17.2 All materials and prices shown on the system are available for GBQ builders only. The supplier does not have any obligation to sell their products for the shown prices to non-GBQ builders unless they consent to do so of their consensus and free will.

17.3 GBQ does not sell any of the depicted products directly to users as they are strictly used to calculate the cost of the construction work only. However, all of the user’s selections will be provided by GBQ Builders in the case of quote approval.

18. RECORDS OF PROJECTS

All GBQ records relating to any of the estimated projects are not considered as approved legal documentation that can be submitted before the courts in any legal proceedings.

Grace Building Quote will not be involved in any possible disputes involving the GBQ members (Homeowners, Builders and suppliers)

19. PRICES & LOCATIONS

GBQ estimation system has been designed and created in Australia, and the built-in prices are suitable for projects in all Australian territories, especially NSW. GBQ company is working on expanding the system to cover all states of Australia in the future.

20. REFUND POLICY

GBQ may allow users to utilise the services as a free trial for a specified period before purchasing a paid plan. However, GBQ will not permit a refund for any of its service plans except for exceptional circumstances where the account manager has provided approval.
